Samsung’s WS80A with Elite Ultrasound System and CereTom-equipped mobile strike unit were featured among 14 medical innovations at the Premier, Inc. Innovation Celebration, which took place during the company’s 2016 Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition on June 21.
Designed to meet the needs of women’s health care, Samsung’s WS80A with Elite provides high-quality images through its use of Samsung’s S-Vision hybrid beam-former technology and S-Vue transducers. Because of its advanced volumetric applications such as 5D and Crystal Vue, users will experience an improved workflow and reproducibility. Further, the WS80A with Elite provides a 23-inch high-definition LED display, tablet menu interface, and the reliability of a solid-state drive.
An 8-slice, portable CT scanner, Samsung’s CereTom can provide high-quality diagnostic images in a variety of settings. Used on mobile stroke units, the CereTom can provide advanced imaging capabilities such as CT angiography.
