Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc introduces the Infinix VF-I, a new addition to its InfinixTM -i cardiovascular system offering.
Newly added features include a new 12 by 12-inch flat panel detector (FPD) and a new digital processor. The FBD covers more than twice the anatomical surface area of traditional cardiac mid-sized panels, which will increase cardiologists’ working field-of-view and allow them to more easily perform procedures outside the heart while minimally impacting the angulations.
Its new digital processor expands on the company’s proprietary Advanced Image Processing (AIP) technology and enhances overall resolution, improves visibility over dark anatomical areas, and helps eliminate image lag.
Toshiba will be demonstrating these new additions at this year’s American College of Cardiology Annual Scientific Sessions in Orlando, Fla, March 29 to 31 at booth #2629.
