A new version of NovaRad’s NovaRIS/NovaPACS combined radiology system, unveiled at RSNA 2013 last week, includes such improvements as smarter study comparisons, new modality activity/cost management reports, and an enhanced interface. The new study comparison functionality automatically opens related comparison studies. The modality activity and cost management report enables easier tracking both modality productivity and profitability.
The combined RIS/PACS system is web-based and runs on the same open source platform to ensure seamless integration and help speed installation. The combined system is also available in Spanish and through an ASP model.
