Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) awards GE Healthcare two 10-year contracts valued at a maximum of $63 million annually for broad patient monitoring and life support medical devices.
The 10-year contracts (one year, with nine separate option years) allow DSCP customers to select from GE Healthcare’s suite of patient monitoring devices, communications networks, and IT systems.
The contracts also enable Federal agencies worldwide to select a variety of complementary GE Healthcare products, from diagnostic cardiology devices and MUSE cardiology information archival systems to Datex-Ohmeda anesthesia delivery, infant incubators, and warmers.
DSCP provides the US armed services, as well as various Federal agecies such as the Veterans Administration, with food, clothing, medical equipment, and other necessary supplies. These are the first two patient monitoring vendor contracts to be awarded by DSCP.
