The Regional Medical Center at Memphis, Memphis, Tenn, has purchased Carestream Health’s Vue RIS with embedded voice recognition in an effort to create more efficient scheduling and reporting for radiology exams.
Carestream’s Vue RIS integrates easily with other information systems and delivers functionalities including efficient patient scheduling and tracking; built-in critical results reporting; a native ACR peer review module; powerful business intelligence capabilities that help managers boost income; structured reporting; embedded voice recognition; and Web-based scheduling for referring physicians.
The facility also recently upgraded its Carestream Vue PACS to obtain vendor-neutral archiving and innovative reading tools including automatic registration for volumetric exams and other advanced features that are available to any authorized user at any location. The system’s open architecture interfaces easily with other clinical systems including EHR/EMR platforms.
