GE Healthcare, Waukesha, Wis, reports its LOGIQ e compact ultrasound users can now access InSite ExC, a new service that lets users connect ultrasound systems, via a secure broadband connection, to technical support and clinical applications experts at its LiveAssist center.
GE customers often face ongoing IT challenges, such as integration with their facilities’ EMR and PACS systems, and most customer inquiries stemming from the new technology are related to network configuration and connectivity. The digital connectivity service offers users real-time remote resolution of service and applications events.
Staff members at the support center can view and control the same screen images customers see, and LOGIQ e customers have access to a dedicated ultrasound field engineer team for on-site service calls.
