First Source Incorporated, a provider of digital x-ray technology upgrades and services for the medical imaging market, has announced the launch of its new business division, Visaris Americas, which will incorporate a portfolio of digital x-ray imaging technology to meet the growing needs of its business channels.
According to First Source, its executive team identified the need to provide customers with a more comprehensive digital radiography (DR) portfolio. Visaris Americas’ mission will be to deliver high quality, and high value digital imaging technology, PACS/RIS workflow solutions, and technical support to meet the needs of diverse medical environments.
The new business division is taking a channel-to-market strategy, with products that will reach the market through an exclusive network of channel partners.
The company emphasized that it will continue to provide upgrade innovations, service expertise, and training on all imaging modalities, but the addition of Visaris Americas will enable the business to better meet the needs of its US-based channel and grow its market reach. First Source has three business offices: its sales and manufacturing office based in Rochester, NY; training and parts center in Pittsburgh, PA; and finance office based in Charlotte, NC. The new business division, Visaris Americas, will operate out of the company’s Rochester, NY office.
