RSVP by October 10 to the Colorado Association of Biomedical Equipment Technicians (CABMET) Oktoberfest 2011 meeting, which will take place October 12 at the Golden Hotel in Golden, Colo. Unisyn Medical will host the event.
Attendees will receive a tour of the Unisyn facility. Other events at the meeting include a CABMET business meeting in addition to German food and drink to celebrate Oktoberfest.
Frank Magnarelli, clinical engineering consultant will give a presentation at the event titled, “A New Direction for Hospital Based Biomedical Engineering Programs.” The presentation will offer a new direction for biomedical engineering programs that reflects the realities of the 21st century and the health care delivery system’s dependence on reliable medical devices. It offers a vision of biomedical engineering programs working collectively on a national level to develop data that enables them to play a much stronger role within their institutions.
