Welch Allyn recently honored two US marketing professionals with performance awards. The company presented the awards at its 2011 Global Marketing Meeting in Skaneateles Falls, NY. Shawn St. Pierre received the Sue Thompson Memorial Marketing Excellence Award, and Rebecca Hartman won the 2010 Marketing Excellence Award.

St. Pierre, a 10-year Welch Allyn veteran, was recognized with the award for being an individual who maintains a consistent customer focus while utilizing innovative tactics to creatively overcome marketing challenges. In his current role as global category manager of vital signs, St. Pierre is responsible for managing the company’s noncritical-care monitoring product portfolio.

Rebecca Hartman received the Marketing Excellence Award, which recognizes an individual who goes above and beyond traditional marketing methods to connect with clients and customers in innovative and original ways. Hartman joined the marketing team in September 2005 and is currently senior manager of marketing communications and branding. She is responsible for product messaging, positioning, and launches while maintaining corporate brand standards and overseeing account service professionals as well as the creative services department.
