The 10th annual awards program recognizes the world’s most innovative digital health and medical technology solutions.


MedTech Breakthrough, an independent market intelligence organization, has announced the winners of its 10th annual awards program. The program recognizes companies and products in the global health and medical technology market, according to a release from the organization.

The 2026 awards program received a record number of nominations from health systems and startups across more than 20 countries. The categories reflect the evolution of the industry over the last decade, including developments in clinical workflows, remote care, and connected devices.

“This year’s winners have earned recognition not just for building impressive technology, but for deploying it in ways that genuinely move the needle on patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and access to care,” says Steve Johansson, managing director, MedTech Breakthrough, in a release.

Medical Device and Imaging Winners

Several medical device companies received recognition for new technology solutions. FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corp was recognized for its ELUXEO 8000 Endoscopic Imaging System, and Canon Medical Systems won for the Aplio i-series Prism Edition ultrasound.

Other winners in the medical device category include:

  • Medtronic for its Altaviva urology technology
  • Zimmer Biomet for its ROSA Knee with OptimiZe robotic solution
  • Agiliti for its therapeutic technology solution
  • Insulet, which was named the best overall medical device product
  • Remington Medical, which was named the best overall medical device company

Clinical Efficiency and IT Advancements

In the clinical and health administration category, symplr was named the best clinical efficiency solution, and Genzeon received the clinical efficiency innovation award. Electronic health record (EHR) winners included PointClickCare for best EHR solution and athenahealth for the EHR innovation award. CliniComp was named the best overall EHR solution provider.

For healthcare cybersecurity, P-n-T Data Corp was recognized for the best overall healthcare cybersecurity solution, and CloudWave received the healthcare cybersecurity innovation award.

Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics

The program also highlighted the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in modern healthcare. Candid Health was recognized for the best use of AI in healthcare, and Navina won for best AI-assisted software solution. Elsevier ClinicalKey AI received the AI innovation award.

In the data and analytics category, MedeAnalytics was named the best overall healthcare data analytics platform. Other winners included IMO Health for best healthcare big data solution and Datavant for best healthcare big data platform.

Industry Leadership

The 2026 program recognized individual and company leadership within the sector. Pat Leonard, CEO of CorroHealth, was named the best medtech company CEO. Welldoc was recognized as the best overall digital health company, and Evergen was named the best overall medtech company.
