Sanford, Fla.-based Omega Medical Imaging, known for its AI image-guided interventional systems for hospitals and healthcare facilities, is spinning off the company’s external medical equipment service and repair efforts as OMI MedTech. The new company operates primarily in the greater Central Florida area.
In the last 12 months, OMI MedTech has become one of the fastest-growing medical equipment and biomed service and repair companies in the market. The company says it offers superior customer service and after-hours availability that have made OMI MedTech a great option for hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, and health centers alike.
“OMI MedTech began as a medical X-ray service provider for an OEM and we realized we were doing something different,” says Nick Gaffey, president of OMI MedTech. “That something different is client-focused customer service tailored to the needs of the medical sector.”
