The company’s new chief technology officer founded Team82, a vulnerability and threat research team focused exclusively on cyber-physical systems.
Claroty, a cyber-physical systems (CPS) protection company, announced the appointment of Amir Preminger as chief technology officer (CTO). In his role as CTO, Preminger will continue to lead Claroty’s research group, Team82, while expanding his impact by driving innovation across the company’s products and services, strengthening the link between technology and business growth.
He will also focus on ensuring customer insights drive product development to stay ahead of market needs and fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and experimentation to accelerate innovation.

Preminger is an experienced cybersecurity researcher, who founded Claroty’s research group Team82, guiding its strategic direction and establishing it as a vulnerability and threat research team focused exclusively on CPS. Prior to Claroty, he spent almost a decade in one of the Israel Defense Force’s technological units, where he played a role in the research and development of advanced cyber solutions across multidisciplinary domains.
