Companies looking to cut energy costs and increase operational efficiency in today’s difficult economy now have a new Internet resource to turn to. A new Web forum established by Fluke Corp, Everett, Wash, gives managers a place to learn energy-saving techniques and share their own ideas.

The forum, ActionEco.org, explains the why behind energy conservation, provides resources to cut energy use, and gives visitors the opportunity to sign up and get involved.

The ActionEco forum provides information for taking action on energy, and includes guides on:  the top five places to scan commercial buildings; best practices for energy savings; what to expect from an energy audit; and how not to save money, which highlights and corrects common mistakes that hinder energy conservation.

The site also profiles the energy conservation program of Fluke parent company Danaher Corp.
