Midmark Corp will collaborate with Qualcomm Life Inc to wirelessly integrate Midmark medical devices onto the 2net Platform. Midmark is working with Qualcomm Life to enable an existing home health product to transmit health data wirelessly using the 2net Platform.
The first product selected by Midmark for evaluation of this technology is the Midmark SleepView Monitor. The SleepView Monitor enables diagnostic testing for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in the patient’s own home, providing a convenient and cost-effective alternative to an overnight stay in a sleep-lab.
The Qualcomm Life 2net Platform is technology-agnostic and designed to enable secure end-to-end connectivity between medical devices and cloud-based data centers to wirelessly deliver medical device data between device users and their healthcare providers. The platform allows seamless data connections with medical devices by removing the complexities of working with multiple mobile carriers and of maintaining connectivity and storage capabilities at the device level.
