The newly formed Kentucky Association for Medical Instrumentation (KAMI) is accepting submissions for its logo contest, which carries a $200 prize.

KAMI was officially started on March 16. During the inaugural meeting, members elected a 12-person board of directors. From this group, five officers will be selected.

The first statewide educational meeting is set for October 18 to 20 in Louisville, Ky, and will be held in conjunction with several other health care Allied Health groups, according to founder Pat Lynch.
