In 2015, AAMI will hold a series of virtual CE-IT town hall meetings designed to bring together the healthcare technology management (HTM) and information technology (IT) communities. The complimentary meetings are being offered by the CE-IT community throughout the year as a collaboration among AAMI, ACCE, and HIMSS.
According to AAMI, the CE-IT town hall series will inform participants about timely issues related to medical technology networking and interoperability, risk management, interdepartmental collaboration, and more. The first virtual town hall meeting, held on January 29, 2015, was a panel discussion titled “Future Trends of Healthcare Technology.”
