GE Healthcare, Waukesha, Wis, has released a schedule for classes for the first quarter of 2013.
The technical training classes cover a wide range of technology and product lines, including x-ray, ultrasound, networking infrastructure, and patient monitoring systems.
The details of the ultrasound course give an example of what each course offers. The ultrasound course, which includes LOGIQ, Voluson, and Vivid systems, are for in-house biomedical service engineers. The course contains hands-on lab exercises and troubleshooting problems. Instructors emphasize the operation, applications, installation, configuration, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of the systems using user and service documentation.
