Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Week, which takes place from May 20-26, is an ideal opportunity to show your appreciation for the important role biomedical equipment technicians, clinical engineers, and other HTM professionals play in the delivery of safe and effective patient care, AAMI officials say.

With more complex medical devices and healthcare technology systems being introduced into healthcare facilities, the purchase, support, maintenance, and use of this equipment is more important than ever. So, too, are the HTM professionals who manage these activities.

Do you work with one or more HTM professionals who regularly embrace new challenges, display outstanding professionalism, or simply go above and beyond the call of duty? Then nominate them for a chance to be recognized by AAMI.

All you need to do is send a brief email to AAMI’s Director of Communications Amber Logan at [email protected] that includes:

  • The nominee’s name, job title, organization, and location
  • An explanation that describes why this person deserves recognition, including specific examples of how he or she has made a difference
  • Your name, job title, and organization
  • A large, high-resolution (300 dpi) photo of the person you would like to recognize

All nominations must be received by 5 p.m. EST on Friday, March 30.
