Ekahau Inc, a provider of Wi-Fi-based real-time location systems (RTLS), demonstrated solid growth in 2012, driven, it said, by strong adoption of the Ekahau safety alert solution and the release of the Ekahau Vision 2.0 business intelligence platform.
Ekahau experienced 45% year-over-year revenue growth, secured $10M in new funding and increased its safety badge business by 57% in 2012. The company leveraged its venture funding and accelerated new product introductions, which included the B4 safety badge and the Ekahau Vision software platform. The company also increased its resources dedicated to customer-focused operations by more than 25% and has more initiatives planned in 2013, including the launch of a product advisory council and an upgraded customer support portal.
The Ekahau Vision 2.0 software platform offers reporting tools, customizable dashboards, and business intelligence capabilities.
