Visage Imaging demonstrated its suite of imaging systems at the recent Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine 2016 Annual Meeting in Portland, Ore. The company educated conference attendees about Visage 7.1.8, the latest release of its Enterprise Imaging Platform, which features fast, thin-client, server-side processing technology and diagnostic mobile access via Visage Ease Pro.

The company’s enterprise diagnostic viewer is provided to its customers, who benefit from Visage’s customer-focused Agile development. Visage 7 has included more than 4,200 enhancements and fixes by means of 35 minor software releases and 8 major releases since the Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting in 2011.

Visage 7.1.8 includes 150 performance and usability refinements, such as privacy mode, breast imaging, brain perfusion, enhanced DICOM, and messaging, among others. This version of the software also enables interoperability following Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) profiles.

“Visage is focused on results,” says Malte Westerhoff, PhD, co-founder and global chief technology officer of Visage Imaging. “Just two months after the [IHE Europe] Connectathon, Visage 7.1.8 has been released with proven interoperability and numerous customer-driven enhancements. Confidence and capability are not meaningless buzzwords, they are standard features with Visage 7.”
