Ultrasound trainingTrisonics Inc, an ultrasound service and support, systems, parts, and transducers/probes company, has announced that it is launching a new ultrasound service training program in 2016.

With 14 classes scheduled for 2016, the company will be bringing its own engineers out of the field to serve as instructors. The addition of this training program comes just after Trisonics has moved its headquarters to a new facility in Harrisburg, Pa. In this new facility, a special, fully equipped classroom has been set aside for both education and hands-on training.

“For the past 12 years, Trisonics has been diligently working to fulfill our customers’ ultrasound needs with various offerings including field service, parts, probes, and system sales,” said Trisonics president Stuart Latimer. “During the construction of our new facility, we were able to incorporate a state-of-the-art training center, which has given us the capability to add service training to our portfolio.”

The training program was reportedly built around focusing on some of the most commonly used systems in the field. Individual courses include Philips iU22/iE33; GE Logiq E9/Vivid E9; Philips Epiq series; and GE Voluson E6/E8, as well as classes on basic ultrasound.

A full schedule can be found on the training page of the Trisonics website.
