The Colorado Association of Biomedical Equipment Technicians (CABMET) will host its next meeting this Thursday, March 15.

Billed as a “good old fashion Rocky Mountain barbecue,” the meeting will serve up beef brisket, pulled pork, catfish, country mashed potatoes, and a cash bar.

There will be an informational session teaching the technique of an ultrasound PM that will include how to assess the system and transducer image quality and how to perform system and transducer leakage tests.

This session of the monthly meeting is sponsored by Echoserve, a field service company for diagnostic ultrasound and mammography systems.

The gathering will be at the Marriott Denver West in Golden, Colo, and the deadline to RSVP to a CABMET officer is Monday, March 12.
