A new partnership between Nexsan Corp, a provider of energy-efficient, long-term storage, and GE Healthcare IT will provide hospitals and health care facilities with secure, eco-friendly systems for capturing, storing, and archiving images.
As part of the agreement, GE Healthcare IT has certified Nexsan’s green storage solutions with its Centricity PACS-IW imaging solution. PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems), is a storage and management system for high-resolution images. The certified products include the company’s SATA line of high-density storage solutions and a long-term archiving product, Nexsan Assureon.
Specifically designed to address the long-term storage and management of fixed content information, Assureon assists health care organizations that need to continually comply with regulations being enforced by numerous agencies.
