Barco announces that it has received an order from Dell AB, Upplands Vaesby, Sweden, to supply its Coronis Fusion 6MP DL display systems to the University Hospital of Danderyd, Sweden.
Installation of the company’s latest 6 MegaPixel diagnostic color display systems will permit radiologists to read both color and grayscale studies, including CT, MR, CR, and DR images, on a single multi-modality PACS display system.
The 536-bed University Hospital of Danderyd, north of Stockholm, focuses primarily on internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, rehabilitation medicine, surgery, urology, obstetrics, and gynecology. The hospital upgraded to the new system in order to take advantage of its flexible visualization solution, which can be used either as one 30-inch workspace with a resolution of six million pixels, or as two seamless three MegaPixel display heads.
The new display solution has been supplied through Barco‘s partner Dell AB.
