Long Beach PET Imaging Center has installed the Siemens Biograph 40 TruePoint, the area’s first high definition (HD) PET/CT scanner.
The Siemens Biograph 40 TruePoint combines positron emission technology and computed tomography, and is able to perform PET/CT scans in less than half of the time of traditional PET/CT studies. HD technology allows physicians to spot the smallest lesions detectable on any scanner through enhanced clarity, and improved resolution and uniformity.
Additional features include a non-claustrophobic open gantry system, proven crystal technology, high PET and CT resolution, and the highest standard rotational speed.
Long Beach PET Imaging Center has been providing imaging services including PET/CT to patients, payors, and physicians throughout Long Beach and the surrounding Southern California communities since 2001. Services include diagnostic PET, CT, MRI, x-ray, ultrasound, and digital radiography.
