Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc announces the promotion of Joseph Cooper as the new director of its CT business unit.
Part of the CT business unit at Toshiba for the last five years, Cooper has more than 15 years of experience in the medical imaging industry. “His leadership in strategic development at Toshiba has resulted in the development of advanced technical and clinical features for our CT systems,” said Doug Ryan, vice president, marketing and strategic development, Toshiba.
As the new director, Cooper will implement tactical and strategic marketing plans to drive customer satisfaction, market share growth, and profitability. He will also interface with the global business unit at Toshiba Medical Systems Corp in Japan to communicate the needs and requirements of the US market.
