Barco will display its imaging systems at the 2016 Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting, which is taking place from June 29-July 1 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.

Among the products the company will exhibit are the Coronis Uniti display system, the Coronis Fusion 6MP, and the Nio Color 2MP LED. The Coronis Uniti, for instance, allows physicians to read both PACS and mammography images on the same display, and view color and grayscale, 2D and 3D, static, and dynamic images on a single 12 MP screen. This helps to reduce the complexity and cost of the workstation’s footprint, according to Barco officials.

“Radiologists are under increasing pressure to maximize their productivity and interact more directly with patients with the advent of value-based healthcare,” says Lynda Domogalla, Barco’s vice president of product marketing healthcare. “Our Coronis Uniti display system can help meet these demands, delivering improved image quality, while streamlining workflow and enhancing reading comfort.”

What’s more, the Coronis Fusion 6MP display system offers new features that increase radiologist productivity, such as 50% more light. Finally, the Nio Color 2MP LED home office display system enables radiologists to work from home—a major trend in the medical imaging field.
