Memorial Healthcare will implement Hyland Software’s OnBase enterprise content management system to consolidate patient records across its health services, Hyland announced on October 30. The interface is designed to integrate with Meditech’s existing framework for managing patient records and back office data. OnBase captures information not currently accounted for in the Meditech architecture, centralizing records and freeing up human resources.
Memorial Healthcare will use OnBase to manage images and other unstructured data through the Meditech integration, creating a comprehensive view of the patient record. OnBase will help Memorial Healthcare electronically capture paper documents, provide access to documents in the EMR, speed up manual processes with electronic workflows, and centralize unstructured content in a single repository.
