Medical Specialties Distributors LLC (MSD), Stoughton, Mass, announces the promotion of Simon Smith to director of marketing.
Smith joined MSD in December 2007 as senior marketing manager. During his 19 years of experience in the health care industry, Smith has developed skills in product development, brand management, vendor relations, B2B catalog and Web marketing, and merchandising across various segments of the alternate site channel.
Prior to joining MSD, Smith was director of store brands for Brooks Eckerd Pharmacy and director of purchasing for Invacare Supply Group.
In his new capacity, Smith will continue to launch new products and tools that will increase MSD’s footprint in the biomedical space.
MSD is a distributor of health care products and biomedical rentals and services to the health care provider community.
