Scheduled for June 13 and 14 in San Francisco, a pair of events will examine the regulatory environment for medical devices as well as the issues that mobile health technologies are posing for manufacturers and users of medical devices. The Medical Devices Summit West event will address a range of topics, from FDA regulation to supply chain planning. The Mobile Healthcare Summit will cover topics such as “Hospital and IT Compliance Issues that Arise from Adopting Mobile Technologies” and “Getting Buy-In from your IT and Hospital Executive Team.” The conferences are produced by Opal Events. Attendance at the events is free for employees of medical device companies, hospitals, health plans, academia, and government.
