The Heartland Biomedical Association’s 2014Â Symposium and Vendor Fair will be held at St Elizabeth’s Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Neb, on November 8, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The day’s educational sessions will begin with a presentation by Joe Padilla of Interstate Battery on the life cycle of a battery. Other sessions will cover cost-effective repair of ultrasound transducers (Ted Lucidi of Bayer Healthcare MVS), the basics of surgical microscopes (Corey Shellenberger of Prescott’s Inc), understanding bone density (Ben Williams of Dexa Solutions LLC), and mobile instrument service and repair (Chad Bliss). The vendor fair will be held from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. The day will conclude with an HBA associate dinner at Parker’s Smokehouse in Lincoln.
Registration for the event and dinner costs $25. Online registration ends Thursday, November 6th at 11:59 pm. Attendees must register online by the deadline to attend the dinner and to guarantee food for lunch.
