Featuring a wide surface area and high sensitivity, the new Model 408 medical temperature probe, from Measurement Specialties, is ideal for continuous patient monitoring, localized temperature measurement, and surface temperature measurement.
Encased in a stainless steel rigid housing, the new probe allows precise placement for remote locations. Additionally, the 408 features an intentionally wide surface area, enabling faster response times—typically, less than 3 seconds in stirred fluid.
The probe is interchangeable +/- 0.1°C, 25°C to 45°C per EN 12470 and has been tested to +/- 0.1°C, 0°C to 70°C for laboratory use. A rugged PVC cable and ¼-inch phone plug connector are standard.
