The Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance (MITA), a leading organization and collective voice of medical imaging and radiopharmaceutical manufacturers, innovators, and product developers, announced that Richard Dewit of Bayer Healthcare will join the MITA Board of Directors.
“It’s an honor to be elected to the MITA Board of Directors and I look forward to working with my fellow Board members to help shape public policies that ensure patient access to safe, high-quality medical imaging,” says Dewit. “As a leading advocacy organization for healthcare innovation and diagnostics, MITA’s advocacy efforts are critical to our sector and the patients who depend on our products, services and technologies to enable diagnosis and inform their healthcare decision-making and treatments.”
Dewit currently serves as the VP of U.S. Sales & Marketing for Bayer’s Radiology business.
At Bayer since 1999, Dewit has served in roles overseeing many parts of Bayer’s imaging portfolio, including magnetic resonance, computed tomography and molecular imaging.
