Members of the profession have formed a new professional society in Nevada called the Nevada Healthcare Technology Association (NHTA).
The new organization will host its inaugural meeting on January 24 in the Emerald Room of the Delta Pointe building in Las Vegas. The meeting, which begins at 5:30 pm, sets the course for the association’s members by offering an educational session. David Hoglund, president of Integra Systems, Lake Tahoe, Nev, will lead a presentation on the past, present, and future of wireless technology in health care. Among other things, he will discuss what wireless innovations are taking place in telemedicine.
Mike Lane, CBET, supervisor clinical engineering, University Medical Center Las Vegas, and president of the new association encourages all to attend.
