On October 2, the Nebraska-based Heartland Biomedical Association will be hosting an important meeting about its future.

Instead of a vendor presentation, members will join in a roundtable discussion about issues facing clinical engineers as well as the membership of the HBA. Also during the meeting, members will have the opportunity to vote on the adoption of new bylaws, which are submitted in part to achieve non-profit status.

The schedule for the evening is:

  • 6 p.m. dinner
  • 6:30 p.m. business
  • 7 p.m. roundtable discussion

The meeting will be held at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha.
