The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) has announced that its annual conference in Denver last weekend had drawn 2,032 attendees as of June 5, a new record for the event. Held in the Colorado Convention Center, the AAMI annual conference this year featured more than 70 sessions, symposia, and workshops focused on leading issues in healthcare technology management. The accompanying expo included more than 200 exhibiting companies, along with product showcases—informative, 20-minute demonstrations designed to help attendees learn about medical products and services.
