Welch Allyn, a global provider of frontline medical products and solutions, recently sent a team of employees on a mission trip to Guatemala as part of a humanitarian effort sponsored by Heart to Heart International. Heart to Heart is a nonprofit organization that provides relief in disaster- and poverty-stricken areas. For six days, the group educated elementary school children on the importance of health care, and trained doctors and nurses how to use Welch Allyn diagnostic devices donated by the company to clinics in the region.
Welch Allyn works with several nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations to provide humanitarian relief to disadvantaged people throughout the world. Since 1998, Welch Allyn has donated more than $10 million in medical equipment to help deliver patient care in places that need it most.
