As a provider of solutions for electronic medical and health care records needs, Canon USA Inc will showcase new technologies at this year’s Healthcare Information Management Systems Society Conference (HIMSS) at the Venetian Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas. The new solutions are specifically geared toward separate constituents within a health care office. Canon will show examples of how the company’s imageFORMULA document scanners and imageCLASS laser devices can address the needs of various health care environments such as billing, admissions, nurses’ station, back office, physicians’ office, and IT desk.
Canon will also exhibit successful interoperability with electronic health record (EHR) applications by sending scanned documents with an HL7 CDA from imageRUNNER ADVANCE multifunction products using the embedded Nuance eCopy ShareScan v5 software.
