The turbine-driven system supports existing V60 accessories, integrates high-flow oxygen therapy, and shares a user interface with other Mindray SV-Series ventilators.
Mindray announced the US launch of its SV70 non-invasive ventilator. The system is the newest addition to the company’s SV-Series line and is designed to support hospitals addressing equipment transitions following the market withdrawal of the Philips V60, the manufacturer stated.
According to the company, the withdrawal of the Philips V60, previously a widely used standard in non-invasive ventilation, has prompted fleet-wide replacements across healthcare systems. Mindray reported that the SV70 was engineered to meet these demands by integrating advanced clinical decision support, an intuitive user interface, and high-flow oxygen therapy to preserve clinical familiarity, workflow continuity, and patient safety.

Platform Design and Accessory Compatibility
The SV70 is built on a turbine-driven, single-limb platform that allows clinicians to switch between non-invasive ventilation and high-flow oxygen therapy, according to the release. To reduce staff training requirements across respiratory care teams, the ventilator shares the same user interface found on Mindray’s SV900 and SV700 platforms, the company noted.
Mindray also stated that the SV70 is compatible with existing Philips V60 accessories, enabling respiratory therapy departments to transition devices without overhauling current accessory inventories.
Monitoring Connectivity and Availability
In addition to standalone ventilation capabilities, the SV70 integrates with Mindray BeneVision N-Series patient monitors, allowing clinicians to view ventilator parameters remotely within broader department workflows, according to the announcement. Wireless connectivity features enable patient data tracking from bedside care through internal transport, the company added.
The SV70 ventilator is commercially available in the US and includes a three-year warranty, Mindray reported. The company plans to showcase the device at the American Association for Respiratory Care Congress in November.
