Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics in Kansas City, Mo, has installed two Infinix CF-i/BP vascular X-ray systems from Toshiba America Medical Systems, featuring 8- x 8-inch flat panel detectors and a five-axis bi-plane system.
The hospital will use the systems for numerous clinical applications, including cardiac catheterizations, interventional procedures, electrophysiologic studies, device implantation, and general diagnostic imaging. Additional features include:
- Versatile five-axis positioner, for improved patient access;
- Toshiba’s advanced image processing technology, which creates images with more detail during fluoroscopic intervention, offering clinicians clear, sharp images; and
- Comprehensive dose management package, providing the actual measurement of radiation dose administered during the exam.
