Carestream Health, Rochester, NY, announced that it has now shipped more than 6,000 DRX-1 wireless x-ray detectors. Designed to deliver digital X-ray images in about four seconds, the device helps streamline workflow, improve productivity and enhance patient care in both in-room and mobile environments. The DRX family also includes a second detector, the cesium iodide-based CARESTREAM DRX-1C, that is well-suited for use in orthopedic, trauma, pediatric and other specialty environments.
