The Indiana Biomedical Society (IBS) will host its 2013 Annual Conference on January 19 in Indianapolis.

Designed to meet the continuing educational needs and interests of the state’s biomedical community, the conference features educational sessions, such as “Ultrasound in the 21st Century” and “IT Education for BMETs,” as well as an exhibit hall with approximately 50 vendor booths. IBS will draw prizes for attendees who stop at each vendor booth.

The meeting includes a luncheon, which will feature the recognition of the IBS Professional of the Year.

The conference offers practical and affordable learning experiences as well as professional camaraderie with others in the field of health care technology management. The association will accept nominations for 2013 IBS officers until the actual time of voting, which will take place during the business meeting at the end of the conference.

Scheduled for the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre, registration for the event ranges from $10 to $60, depending on student and membership status.

Visit the association Web site for information on how to register and for special hotel rates.
