Siemens Healthcare announces the latest developments to its radiology, cardiology, and image processing portfolio, including significant improvements to its syngo workflow RIS solution and the addition of a new Web-based portal.
The syngo suite is a Web-enabled radiology information system (RIS) and picture archiving and communications system (PACS).
Designed for managers and IT administrators, Siemens’ new Web-based portal, syngo portal executive, can analyze more than 40 key performance indicators of a department’s operational performance. The suite’s existing radiologist portal has also been enhanced to simplify radiologists’ access to imaging studies, previous reports, and lab values.
Additional improvements include updates to workflow’s embedded dictation tool, syngo voice, and a new version of syngo imaging V35 (PACS), featuring advanced scalability and performance.
The company will demonstrate its improvements at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine 2009 annual meeting in Charlotte, NC, June 4 through 7.
