Medical Equipment Dynamics (MED), based in New Bedford, Mass, will offer the complete image management product suite from Toronto-based RamSoft, under terms of a new agreement between the two companies.
MED, which supplies a range of equipment to fit the specific needs of healthcare organizations, seeks to leverage RamSoft’s reputation, product quality, field support, and functionality.
“Adding the RamSoft PowerServer family is a strategic move for us,” says Garret Purrington, CEO of Medical Equipment Dynamics. “To meet our growth goals, we are expanding geographically, and our customers need to see us as more than just an equipment company.”
RamSoft’s PowerServer portfolio is designed for radiology workflow scalability. The product line includes a radiology information system, picture archiving and communication system, and teleradiology solution, among other technologies.
