Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc, unveiled the Synapse version 3.2, its latest PACS software release that can better integrate mammography images.
The PACS features Fujifilm’s improved patent-pending reading protocol technology and other enhancements to address the rapid adoption of digital mammography by providing advanced capabilities for the soft copy interpretation of mammography and other breast imaging studies.
Synapse goes beyond just the display of mammography images by integrating CAD into both the technologist and radiologist workflow and enabling the display of CAD markers. Reader-specific preferences can be set to provide for efficient and consistent workflows, which are critical to the interpretation of all studies, including digital mammography.
