The Vantage Galan 3T MR system from Toshiba Medical, Tustin, Calif., has been installed in a new research facility at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Md. A ribbon cutting opening ceremony was held at the newly opened center, the Center for Advanced Imaging Research and Science, or CAIRS, within the university’s Science + Technology Park.

Toshiba Medical and its academic collaborators aim to create unique healthcare solutions using Toshiba Medical’s premium MR system.
