Edward-Elmhurst Health, one of Illinois’ larger integrated health systems, has selected the RadPRO Omnera 400T Manual-Positioning Digital Radiographic System from Virtual Imaging, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon USA, Inc. The company’s manual-positioning system enables Edward-Elmhurst Health’s outpatient site in Hinsdale, Ill, to utilize the high throughput that’s required in today’s health care imaging departments.
The RadPRO Omnera 400T Manual-Positioning Digital Radiographic System supports a customizable and efficient workflow, while the system’s Canon Wireless Detector helps to reduce wait times for staff and patients through the use of high-quality, fast imaging. A flexible system, the RadPRO Omnera 400T accommodates the needs of both patients and health care providers.
“With the introduction of our new facility, it was important that we chose a trustworthy system that would provide us with the capabilities required to meet the needs of our patient population,” says William Wallin, RTR, radiology manager at Elmhurst Hospital. “Our newest outpatient facility was over an $18 million investment for us—and throughout the facility, we chose only the highest quality products to serve our community—and the RadPRO Omnera system fit the bill.”
Edward-Elmhurst’s purchase of the system complements the health system’s use of the Canon CXDI digital radiography systems for the last five years.
