Health care imaging expert Barco unveiled its new Eonis clinical display family at HIMSS. Designed with clinical specialists in mind, the Eonis displays combine a built-in front sensor with Barco’s MediCal QAWeb cloud-based tool to ensure controlled image quality.
The Eonis 22-inch model is available in a black and a white version, with the latter offering a fully cleanable front glass panel to prevent infection, which the company stated is a first in the market.
Barco’s new Eonis display presents crisp, razor-sharp, high-contrast images, according to the company. To guarantee image consistency at all times, it features a front sensor that automatically aligns image quality every time the display is turned on. This image consistency enhances collaboration: images always appear exactly like they are supposed to, on every display, which spurs confident clinical decisions. It also features built-in DICOM settings.
Barco’s MediCal QAWeb provides automated quality assurance checks and detailed reports, enabling health care IT to centrally and remotely manage and configure displays across the health care organization.
