The company says the changes aim to “best support our hospital partners.”
US Med-Equip says 13 employees were affected by recent role changes nationwide, representing a portion of its roughly 760-person workforce.
In a statement provided to 24×7, the company says it “regularly make[s] changes to roles to best support our hospital partners.”
“We hold very high standards for all of our employees whose work supports clinicians’ life-saving mission,” according to the statement.
US Med-Equip provides medical equipment rental and support services to hospitals and health systems across the United States.
“We will keep investing in equipment, technology, facilities, and, most importantly, strong teams so biomedical technicians and other employees doing great work have the support they need to succeed,” the statement reads. “Our focus remains on caring for our people, strengthening our teams, and continuing to support the clinicians who depend on us every day.”
The company did not provide additional details about which roles were affected.
