The conference will provide practical perspectives on current interference concerns, along with insights into the implementation and applications of RFID systems.
RFID technologies provide health care organizations with powerful capabilities, from real-time asset tracking to inventory optimization. Emerging research, however, suggests that interference from RFID systems can create hazardous conditions that may potentially jeopardize patient safety.
The Web conference will include expert speakers from ECRI Institute and leading hospitals, who will provide practical guidance and review where RFID technology stands today.
